Job Title: Donor Contact Representative III, Bilingual- Vietnamese or Korean

Job description:  
Provides high quality customer service through performing DR, HR and CT search services for potential donors listed on the Registry. This includes accessing information from STAR Link“, locating donors, contacting and educating donors, assessing interest and health conditions, updating donor demographics, and completing/managing all other related record updates and documentation accordingly. The following activities would also be performed as necessary: scheduling laboratory testing, ordering/sending donor kits, obtaining consent, and monitoring donor follow through. Good guardianship of member confidentiality and identity; appropriate use of available people finder tools. Supports the achievement of department goals through job accountabilities, excellent customer service, and exceptional time management.

Minimum Education:

Associates degree required. Associates or Bachelorís degree in Health Care, Human Services, or a related field is preferred. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related

experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree requirement.


Minimum Experience:

Three years customer relations/service experience required. One year experience with basic word processing and data entry required. Customer service and data entry

experience may be concurrent. Previous call center experience is preferred. One year experience as a Contact Representative I or II preferred. Familiarity with medical

terminology and advanced health screening experience preferred. Experience with direct patient interaction or care in a clinical/healthcare setting preferred.


Key Knowledge/Skills:

MS Office to include basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database software application skills. Proficiency with applying computer skills and engaging with

customers simultaneously. Advanced internet research skills.

Ability to deliver solid customer service while utilizing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to integrate new and evolving knowledge into daily work and utilize

multiple resources and tools to complete work. Professional telephone etiquette with the ability to build rapport with customers in a heavy blended (inbound and outbound) call

environment. Reflective listening skills with the ability to inspire connection with the organizational mission. Ability to multitask in a fast paced and multi-media (phone, email

,mail) environment. Ability to convey medical information to customers, manage confidential information appropriately, and employ strong documentation practices. Ability to

contribute in a team environment and to take initiative and responsibility for independent work as needed. Ability to complete work with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail

and follow-through.



Other Requirements:

Maintains confidentiality related to information contained in files or records retained within the department. Requires some flexibility in work hours to accommodate staffing needs;

Evening/weekend hours may be required.
