Seeking a team-oriented, Financial Analyst interested in becoming an active business partner supporting the WW Corporate Communications and Marketing Organizations. In this role, you will be an integral part of the FP&A process and have the opportunity to work with global Corporate Communications and Marketing organizations.Description:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for all functional spending forecasting, financial reporting, business planning, variance analysis, capital forecasts and other analysis done for senior management, and will be a subject matter authority in our forecasting and reporting tools. This role will include providing financial decision support activities to Education Marketing, Apps and Services, Business Markets, Product Marketing, Corporate Events, Public Relations, Buzz Marketing and Editorial Loans.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Opex and Headcount Monthly Forecast:
Lead the forecast process and management for Opex and Headcount.
Identify risk factors affecting performance to approved budgets.
Oversee and drive quarterly close activities.
Provide support on finance issues, policies and practices by working as a liaison between the business and finance.
Manage review of business performance by building and presenting key performance indicators for critical spend drivers.
Ensure business compliance with policies and procedures.
Perform quarterly audits of Marketing seed lab and Corporate Events inventory.
Track, forecast and report on headcount analysis.
Maintain, build and implement internal controls.
Work closely with cross functional teams including Corporate Finance, Technical Accounting, Procurement, GFSS, IS&T, HR Recruiting, Tax and Legal.
Annual Plan Process:
Own the annual Plan process (creation and management) for all of Worldwide Corporate Communications.
Drive annual and quarterly Financial/business plans (P&L) by partnering with the business on defining strategic modeling and outlook, and presenting to management.
FP&A Activity including:
Ownership of team transfers into, within, and out of the Corporate Communications Organization
Management of Signature Authority and Budget Hierarchy set up
Management of bi-annual SOX testing |
Skills:

Key Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate finance position
•High level of proficiency in Excel required
•Experience with enterprise software systems (SAP, Business Objects, Essbase, Filemaker) strongly preferred
•Proven financial analysis skills
•Strong attention to detail
•Effective communicator
•Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at a time with minimal supervision
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
