The AMR AppleCare Logistics team is a highly motivated, fast-pace, dynamic organization that is responsible for Apple’s reverse/service logistics operation in the Americas region. The team manages a number of Distribution Centers and 3PL (third party logistics) partners in multiple countries in the AMR region and delivers industry leading service to our customers. We are seeking a Logistics analyst whose role will touch all aspects of the reverse logistics network. This includes both service and channel returns from Apple’s Retail stores, Reseller locations and B2C returns.

This position is located on site at the Apple campus in Elk Grove, CA.

Description:
As a Logistics Analyst you'll be working in a global, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment. You'll work with multiple cross functional teams. You'll build, develop, maintain and own the data infrastructure that enables effective and accurate decision-making. Key responsibilities include, but, not limited to:
*Developing, maintaining, updating and owning robust and scalable data infrastructure pertaining to AppleCare Logistics, using tools like SQL, Teradata Data Warehouse, Tableau, Alteryx and Excel
*Develop reporting and dashboards for key operational processes and set up access for key data
*Collaborating with Business Intelligence teams, Finance, Transportation and Engineering to improve areas such as performance, cost and quality
*Ability to understand Finance metrics and functions (like Budgets, Forecasting spend, vendor purchase order management) pertaining to Logistics and Transportation
*Establish and maintain professional and open relations with external and internal partners
*Serves as liaison between sales, finance, transportation and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge
*Participate in capital projects as a key business partner and drive change and projects with our network
*Lead brainstorming sessions to capture requirements and risks with the Apple DC operational teams
Skills:  
Key Qualifications:
•3+ years Logistics experience
•A technical person with the ability to quickly understand business processes and drivers in a logistics environment
•Understanding of Operations Finance, Cost Metrics, Budgets and Purchase Orders
•Strong data and analytical skills; ability to drill into operational data, analyze the data and make recommendations to peers and management teams
•Expertise in Excel, SQL, and Teradata
•High level proficiency in Tableau is a plus
•Aptitude to utilize business/enterprise applications like SAP, Keynote, Word, FileMaker
•Excellent verbal, analytical, written, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present to all levels of leadership

Education:
Bachelors degree and 5+ years experience or MS/MBA and 3 years experience or equivalent experience.
Business, Logistics and/or Engineering discipline preferred
