The Retail Apps team is looking for an experienced technical program manager to strategize and coordinate the Concierge platform. The successful candidate requires excellent analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills along with business acumen. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader that has experience driving results through cross-functional teams. With your experience, you will recognize, assess, and communicate cross-functional issues and risks. You are a creative thinker who is articulate in your reasoning, assessments, and actions.

The Concierge platform connects our customers with our employees by being the cornerstone of the in-store reservation experience for Service, Product Reservations, Personal Setup, and the Product Zone. Used by all employees in the Retail Store, it is crucial to the daily operations of the Retail employee.

Description:
You will work as the intersection between design, business and engineering to build out and enhance the Concierge platform. The right candidate will be naturally cooperative and capable of inspiring great ideas in technical and non-technical teammates. You will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product with Apple Retail, IS&T Engineering, and AppleCare teams.

This will require you to lead product strategy discussions, identify ways to support the Retail business needs, and collaborate on detailed, actionable plans. Along the way, you will identify
and mitigate risks and use your knowledge to define core questions, efficiencies, and processes within the context of Apple’s strategic and competitive position.

• Develop program plans, schedules, and resource strategies to drive projects to closure
• Facilitate good communication and offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of
individual contributors to executive management
• Build a strong relationship with cross-functional internal organizations
• Manage cross-functional business and operational requirements and expectations with
realistic project plans
• Resolve cross-functional and business issues
• Assist leadership in assessing and prioritizing projects
• Proactively seek problem resolutions
• Support internal and external groups
• Provide regular updates to management team to ensure appropriate exposure of issues
and challenges
• Work with XF management and Internal teams to define plan, track, communicate, and
escalate as appropriate
• Drive day to day program activities to meet overall program objective
• Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
• Apply change, risk and resource management
Skills:

•Experience with driving software releases
•Experience with driving IT projects
•Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional teams

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience
