Music Education
Position: Music Education; full-time tenure-track position. Subject to funding availability
Rank: Assistant Professor
Salary: $48,500 - $56,000; commensurate with experience
Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the current music education curriculum and curricular development;
teach core classes in undergraduate and graduate music education; maintain partner
relationships with area schools to facilitate external teaching; and serve as advisor for
Music Education students.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Music Education conferred or near completion. Accomplished instrumental
or vocal teacher with demonstrable background in music education methodology and/or
research, including successful secondary music teaching experience.
