Hearst Art Gallery
Saint Marys College invites application and nominations for the position of Gallery Manager to manage the various aspects of the Art Gallery, including daily operations. Work in a highly collaborative and culturally diverse campus environment and communicate with a diverse community of faculty, staff and students and other Library users. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the mission of the College, which is informed, animated and expressed through its Catholic, Lasallian and Liberal Arts traditions. Reporting to the Gallery Director, the Manager is responsible for managing Gallery operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Arts degree required along with at least five (5) years of administrative experience in a gallery, museum, business or similar settings.
Experience working in higher education environments highly desirable.
Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Operating systems, Word, Excel (spreadsheets) and PowerPoint, internet and email usage.
May be asked to word some evening and weekends.
Salary and benefits are competitive and subject to the availability of funding sources.
