Responsibilities: MSc degree or PhD in Optics, physics, material engineering, electrical engineering background with programming experience or related mask or lithography. 5-10 years experience in lithography, Mask design, RET and OPC is highly desirable. Knowledge of programming or scripting with PERL, Python, &/or matlab. Working knowledge of UNIX and LINUX is must. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Additionally, the job will give the motivated candidate the opportunity to interact with customers and excellent presentation skills and to drive customer requirements with a great team of sales, marketing & engineering within the division. Domestic and international travel required to support customers.
Korean and English language skills are required. Travel required.
Desired skills: Strong communication and coordination skills and planning/execution and data analysis skills.
Job scope: The charter for Application Engineering is to drive the adoption of Inverse Lithography Technology (ILT) and products by demonstrating improvement in the customers design and manufacturing process, in particular, lithography and Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) related. The Application Manager will provide usage models and support for applications spanning semiconductor design to silicon implementation. This position will be based in Korea and the engineer will be supporting a leading edge semiconductor company. This position has a software tool/suite development focus and requires interaction with internal and external customers as well as a close working relationship with the tool development organization to develop and deploy software tools spanning Design, Layout, Mask Data Fracturing, through photomask generation. In addition the Application Engineer communicates customer and market needs to R&D, develops integrated flow solutions for specific customer needs and provides tool support. The ideal candidate will be a versatile individual with a wide span of skills to successfully perform in this key position. |
